11 years ago, after years of being a successful wedding photographer, I was searching for a new venture to start or buy. My then 80-year-old grandmother gave me a call and said she was ready to retire & was going to list her transportation insurance agency for sale. I said ‘hold up, let’s have a conversation’. I bought the family business and my grandmother taught me the ropes. My grandmother had started in the transportation industry when she owned a trucking escort agency. In that role she saw the need for insurance for her clients, which is when she made the transition to be their insurance agent. With my grandfather on the other side of my family tree owning a road construction company, I’ve been surrounded by business leaders and entrepreneurs who have shaped my passion for helping other businesses succeed.
As my agency grew so did the need for additional markets and resources. That’s when I came on board with the global agency I’m now with.
With experience of owning several businesses I’ve gained a unique firsthand perspective and expertise, allowing me to better understand businesses' needs and challenges.
My passion is to work with business owners and leaders to develop a comprehensive strategy to LEVEL UP your business by mitigating risk and improving insurance premiums so you can prosper.
My specialty is commercial insurance for various types of businesses including contractors and transportation for mid to large sized locally owned businesses. I primarily serve Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama based companies, but coverage is available nationwide as well as worldwide.
While I provide you one-on-one personalized service, my team is comprised of elite insurance and risk management experts at the ready to help. With worldwide access, we offer exceptional services, resources, and markets; that small, one location insurance agencies simply cannot offer.
I am an LSU alumna, Leadership Ascension Alumna, and am licensed in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health. I hold the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), as well as the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
